Abhi-Ash voted fav celeb couple
ABHISHEK AND AISHWARYA Bachchan have beaten off competition from within their family to clinch the title of India’s favourite celeb couple, with ‘paa and maa’ Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan coming third.
As part of the Valentine-Day Celebrations, Shaadi.com ran a poll called ‘Happily Married’ which was taken by the 3.6 lakh visitors to the website and Abhi-Ash won with 32 per cent of votes.
The ‘It’ couple who had shared the couch together at the Oprah Winfrey Show last year won votes for their “inspiring love story”, while Bollywood badshah Shahrukh Khan and wife Gauri came second with 29 per cent votes.
Proud parents Big B and Jaya Bachchan came a close third at 20 per cent, while Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao bagged the fourth spot with nine per cent votes.
At the bottom of the rung stood newly-wed Rajasthan Royals couple Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty with 4 per cent votes while Sanjay and Manyata Dutt rounded off the top five with two per cent votes.
