He’s been in and out of showbiz since then, but never really left it. He appeared in Habang Kapiling Ka and Mulawin, which ran for three seasons on GMA-7. Now Lloyd Samartino, son of 60s songstress Carmen Soriano, is back again in ABS-CBN's Walang Kapalit, a new primetime soap that stars Piolo Pascual and Claudine Barretto in the lead roles as the stepbrother and stepsister who enter into a socially-forbidden love affair.

“Ive always liked acting,” says Lloyd, who put up a business called Sergio Holdings, named after his only child by Jo Ramos, daughter of former President Fidel V. Ramos. The boy is now 13 years old. The company manages rental properties, located mostly in Makati . But while he is busy making a living, Lloyd dabbles in acting occasionally because he misses it.
