In what is sure to be a memorable duel, Zedan’s eight-goal star, Nachi Heguy and Ghantoot Land Rover’s seven-goal ace, Hugo Barabucci, who both play at number four, will clash for the first time this tournament.

But before that, Jordan’s Sumaya Polo will take on Dubai’s Gold Cup finalists, Bin Drai in the earlier match. Both games are open to the public and free to attend.

Ghantoot Land Rover’s Barabucci said the hosts were expecting a tough match.

“Zedan have been playing very well and we know that this will be a very hard game,” he said. “Nachi has been performing well and scored seven goals, three in open play, against Desert Palm so we will be looking at ways to neutralise him and limit the amount of penalties we give away.”

Barabucci is not shy in the goals department, having scored five in Ghantoot Land Rover’s opening victory over Abu Dhabi Polo.
