Zayed University organises lecture

DUBAI - As part of its cultural and academic programme, Zayed University organised a lecture about the criteria and principles of assisting companies in achieving leadership given by Professor Kenneth Eastman, head of management department, College of Business Administration at Oklahoma State University. The lecture took place at Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

According to Dr Hanif Hassan, vice-president of Zayed University, the lecture was part of the university's role in coordinating with the society in different fields and providing consultations through its international expertise in order to achieve benefit for all the sectors of the society.

During the lecture, Dr Eastman reviewed the criteria and principles of assisting good to great companies in achieving excellence in terms of quick fixes and simple remedies, referring to the book that he co-authored - "Good to Great" by Jim Collins, who began his career in Stanford School of Business and founded a management research laboratory in Boulder, Colorado, US.
