As a global human resources and management consulting organisation, Dale Carnegie places special emphasis on development of human resources, innovation and organisational creativity for achieving business objectives. Its global leadership award is a coveted recognition in the enterprise training and development space. Boeing, WalMart, Daimler-Chrysler Corp and SAS Scandinavian Airlines were some of the companies that have bagged the award in the past.

"In Wipro, we recognise the qualities that separate truly great companies: commitment to providing excellent service and quality products to customers, understanding the value of employees and an obligation towards community involvement," Dale Carnegie chairman Peter Handal said.

Wipro executive vice-president Pratik Kumar said the award was a testimony to the commitment of the employees to pursue a culture of continuous learning, innovation and excellence to become a global company for technology, people and business leadership.

Under the leadership of its chairman Azim Premji, Wipro's employees have been able to create a unified culture irrespective of its size and scale of operations.
