India’s Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) has reappointed Kamal Vachani as the regional director in the Middle East for the 22nd consecutive year, according to a statement issued by the ESC.
The ESC is India’s premier trade promotion association for the electronics and computer software sector. It’s an autonomous organisation under the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India.
Vachani — who represents the council in the region since 1999 — is also the group director of the Al Maya Group and chairman of the Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) – Dubai Chapter.
“The ESC is very much satisfied with the efforts of Vachani who actively promotes India’s electronics and IT products to the Middle East. He has been sponsoring IT delegations’ visits to the region and extends his sincere support to Indian companies for participation in trade shows in the region,” said Gurmeet Singh, executive director of ESC.
“We are confident that your dedicated involvement in export promotion from India would benefit the entire industry and will lead to new trade ventures in the Middle East region,” added Singh. — business@khaleejtimes.com
