UNB holds training course for locals
ABU DHABI - The Union National Bank (UNB) held an orientation course for over 20 nationals, who joined the Bank recently, the courses aimed at assisting them to adapt to the bank's environment.
The UNB Emiratisation Department provides the newly appointed nationals with several kinds of publications and brochures to enable them understand the polices and procedures and introduce the bank broad products and services, said Ahmed Al Hosani Emiratization Manager at UNB.
"We carry out these courses regularly for new joiners, with extra focus on UAE nationals," he said.
The bank also offers a sponsorship programme for national students specialised in fields suitable with banking works, to provide financial support for the students. Accordingly, the student works in the bank only on Thursdays, provided they join the bank after graduation.
