UAE, US to Boost Trade Relations
ABU DHABI - UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Shaikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi discussed with visiting US Deputy Treasury Secretary Neal Wolin ways of boosting trade relations.
Both leaders discussed developments in trade between the two countries and means of encouraging private sector to boost contacts via forums and trade exhibitions to tap investment opportunities to stimulate economic growth. The US Treasury official who is touring the gulf region, arrived in abu Dhabi from Kuwait. Last week he visited Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Al Qassimi stressed the importance of strengthening the current trade partnership between the UAE and USA.
