The Forum is jointly chaired by Samir Brikho, CEO of AMEC plc and Nasser Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development.

Al Suwaidi stated: “The UAE and the UK are long-standing business partners with a thriving trade relationship.

“There is, however, so much more we can offer one another in terms of investment, technology and innovative development. By bringing together business leaders we want to provide the entrepreneurial drive that will turbo charge commerce between our two countries.”

Brikho said: “The UK and the UAE have a rich history and a vibrant modern partnership. The 100,000 strong British community in the UAE has created over 4,000 businesses there, and Emirati investments in the UK such as DP World’s London Gateway Project and the London Array are significant.”
