The heavy rains hit regions of Morocco that have been suffering from drought for at least six years
Network International, one of the pioneer in third party processing services, is the first independent vendor certified by both Visa and MasterCard for card payments in the Middle East.
Both Visa and MasterCard follow a rigorous system of EMV Certification processing covering all components in a smart card solution, namely-chip, card, operating system and application software, terminals, personalisation of cards, network interface validation and terminal integration. Getting certified implies that Network International is compliant with the guidelines laid down by the Card Schemes and can now personalise the full spectrum of VSDC/MCHIP cards.
Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Chairman, Emirates Bank Group, said: "It gives me immense pleasure to inaugurate the regions foremost EMV certified smart card personalisation centre at network. Network has come a long way since its inception in 1994."
