UAE, Algeria to boost trade ties
ALGIERS — Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika yesterday received UAE Minister of Economy Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi and members of the accompanying delegation.
At the meeting, President Bouteflika and Shaikha Lubna discussed the outcome of her current visit to Algeria and avenues to further bolstering the UAE-Algeria relations in general and economic relations in particular.
Present at the meeting were Algerian Minister of Finance Karim Joudi, Minister of Industry Promotion of Investments Abdelhamid Temmar and Advisor to the Algerian President Ahmed Abu Ghazi.
Later, the Algerian President Bouteflika hosted a banquet in honour of Shaikha Lubna and members of the UAE accompanying delegation.
