Top fashion designers for Motexha
DUBAI - Motexha Autumn 2003 scheduled from October 6 to 9 at the Airport Expo Centre will include 22 fashion developers, manufacturers and exporters.
Hong Kong, the world’s second-largest exporter of clothing will be the main participant in this event, and will display an outstanding array of merchandise from a collection of stylish clothing to elegant lingerie, shoes and accessories. Its contribution in this event is going to be very impressive and wide-ranging.
Jeff Ambjorn, director of the Hong Kong trade development council in Dubai, said: “By combining the extensive manufacturing facilities in southern China, with Hong Kong’s undisputed expertise in quality control, management and logistics , customers in the Middle East are able to enjoy outstanding garments at highly competitive prices.” Hong Kong exports to the UAE alone were worth over US$100 million.
Gordon Lui, manager of Welldone Shoes and a veteran of Motexha fair finds this event an invaluable opportunity to meet long-time customers and said: “From our experience, we’ve found that Middle Eastern buyers appreciate the combination of quality and price that Hong Kong exhibitors are able to provide. “
