Speaking on the partnership, Sadrudin Ali, Director, TIH, said: "We are convinced that LTL is the ideal partner for our very first apartment project in Dubai. We chose the company because of its unmatched quality track record in construction work in the region as well as across the globe. With projects in the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, CIS and South America, LTL is India's largest construction organization and its reputation is unsurpassed. We wanted best-of-the-breed partnerships to lead the development of The Waterfront to ensure that the project will tower above other similar developments."

"LTL was chosen after strict evaluation and assessment in which six reputed construction companies were short listed and scrutinized for their quality, experience and capability in executing mega projects like the Waterfront development," he added.

Sharing the building update on the project, one of the top officials at TIH said that the construction work at The Waterfront is ahead of schedule with all earth works, shoring and excavation completed and civil work about to commence. The piling and foundation work had already been completed by May 2004.

Commenting on The Waterfront project, T.V. Naganathan, Area Manager, LTL, said: "We are delighted to be part of such an exciting project and look forward to constructing what is certain to be one of the most exclusive luxury apartment complexes within Dubai Marina. Our highly qualified engineers and technicians, not to mention our construction manpower of about 150,000 is spread over 350 project sites worldwide. "We also bring to the table an extensive understanding of the region, having been involved in the construction of a number of commercial and residential structures in the UAE and Middle East in the past and are presently working in the region on a few projects including the Diplomat Hotel of the Radisson Group in Bahrain, a $15.6 million contract we won earlier this year."

Heralding frontier technology into modern every-day living, TIH had also signed up with technology leader in automation and control technologies, Pacific Control Systems LLC for implementing "Smart Homes" at The Waterfront. The technology alliance, is backed by global giants like Schneider Electric, Honeywell, G. E. Interlogix and Tridium, and will provide cutting-edge control-equipment technologies to The Waterfront. This will enable it to stand apart from other real estate developments in Dubai and bring luxurious ease to every-day living.

Launched in June 2003, The Waterfront freehold apartment project has met with a tremendous investor response from both the UAE and abroad. All units have now been sold including the Sky-Villas and penthouse apartments.

. All the 72 residential units that comprise the tower have spectacular views of the Marina, spacious parks, the Arabian Gulf and the new Jumeirah Islands development. Apart from the 3G Smart Homes' concept TIH has also introduced the residential concept of Sky Villas' for the first time in the Middle East.

The "Sky Villas" combine the exclusivity and expansiveness of a villa with the functional attributes of a luxury apartment and are located on the 17th and 18th floor of the tower. The two penthouse apartments have their own temperature controlled private swimming pools and gymnasiums and an internal private panoramic lift.
