As of March 2026, Starlink satellite internet is available in more than 150 countries and territories across the globe, including North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
Within the regional countries, Starlink is available in the UAE, Oman, Yemen, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
Developed by SpaceX, US billionaire Elon Musk’s Starlink is a satellite-based internet service that provides high-speed connectivity across the globe, especially in areas where traditional broadband is limited or unavailable.
Instead of relying on underground cables or cell towers, it uses a vast constellation of thousands of small satellites orbiting close to Earth.
These low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites significantly reduce latency compared to older satellite systems, allowing users to enjoy activities such as video calls, streaming, and online gaming with relatively fast response times.
The company claims 99.9% uptime and a weather-resilient service for its residential internet service customers.
