The UAE is a leading country in terms of diversity, and this isn't just because of its residents and leadership - technology is also playing a key role.
"We continue to see the UAE as a champion of diversity and believe... devices will empower citizens to enhance their lives, create lasting memories and express their individualities with greater ease, Mohammed Hilili, general manager for the Gulf, Saudi Arabia and East Africa at Lenovo, said.
He was speaking on the occasion of the company's Tech Life in event in Dubai, in which Beijing- and North Carolina-headquartered Lenovo unveiled its new line-up of laptops and gaming equipment.
Lenovo - currently the world's largest manufacturer of computers - displayed its products in specialised, hands-on zones, including ones dedicated for personal computing, creativity and gaming.
Technology continues to positively impact lives and provide solutions that meet the demands of consumers from all walks of life, Hilili added, and that the UAE, a tech-savvy country in which the population continuously looks for the latest in innovation, remains, undoubtedly, a key market for Lenovo.
"The nation's commitment towards supporting innovation is an example from which we can all learn," he said.
"Technology is the driving force behind change in today's digital age. Computing devices are no longer regarded as having one basic function - they enable us to learn, socialise, express and entertain," Hilili added.
