Tanmia to host 2nd Mideast HR summit

DUBAI — Tanmia, the national human resources development and employment authority will be the patron for the second annual Middle East HR Summit, which will be held from September 18 to 20 at the J. W. Marriott Hotel in Dubai.

The summit will be one of the most comprehensive event of its kind in the region, providing an ideal platform for HR professionals to acquaint themselves with recent developments concerning regional and international HR practices.

Aisha Al Suwaidi, acting director, Centre for Career Guidance and Planning (CCGP) will represent Tanmia during the two-day summit that will bring together over 50 expert international and regional HR practitioners.

Aisha Al Suwaidi said: “The conference will provide a global insight into the latest issues and trends in human resource management and development."

"The Middle East HR Summit will address the challenges faced by HR professionals in the Middle East, while also focusing on the unique regional requirements such as nationalisation initiatives," she added.

The event will feature a host of leading speakers, including internationally-acclaimed management guru Tom Peters, and interacting with these experts will provide an invaluable learning experience for participants of the summit.

Tanmia has continued its strong commitment to provide the best employment opportunities to UAE Nationals with its Centre for Career Guidance and Planning (CCGP) that seeks to direct national human resources to educational, training and career options that match their capabilities, by adopting a clear vision for planning and development of career routes at the national level, in coordination with other relevant institutions.

The CCGP supports career guidance activities undertaken by Tanmia local offices, in coordination with the Employment and Skills Development Centre.
