The UAE-based startup Stall Hunt is all set to disrupt the short-term rental segment for multi-space as there is a growing demand for the same, said Ahmed Al Hassoni. Ahmed, founder of Stall Hunt.
Al Hassoni, founder, Inventally has now ventured in this new startup which is an in5 incubated company. The startup just launched their beta programme on Saturday and is looking to develop the innovation aspects and user experience further.
The business provides a platform to people looking for temporary pop-up spaces, venues, parkings, etc to carry out various activities such as a studio for an artist, a training center for a business, a place to host events for planners, etc. Moreover, it allows users to rent out their spaces, such as parking management companies, football pitches, venues, cloud kitchens, etc.
"Stall Hunt aims to be the Airbnb of short-term space rental. Being the first of its type in the UAE, Stall Hunt has a lot of potential. The business seeks to expand its reach and be operational in six countries by the end of 2021," added Hassoni.
"Startups and small businesses have a tough time to interact with their potential customers in person. They need space to host their interactive sessions and display their work and products. This is where Stall Hunt steps in. It offers businesses on-demand rental areas depending on a budget of the business. These startups can rent venues for as long as they want - on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Moreover, it saves companies the cost and effort of discovering spaces and does not charge any hidden fees."
While online marketing is important and effective, it is also important to carry out some groundwork so to develop a deeper connection with the buyers. For example, if an artist needs some space to display his work, he goes on Stall Hunt and finds a space owner who has an unused wall he can rent out. Similarly, it can be used to find a cloud kitchen that can help a restaurant expand its delivery range. Parking lots have a lot of empty spaces to fill and events such as a get-together party, a business training program, photoshoot and film locations, etc.
"It is a very modern and innovative idea that could potentially change markets and marketing forever. I believe the perceptions of the business world have been outdated and StallHunt will change that. This is why I have invested in StallHunt because I believe it has a lot of potential to grow and become something grand," said Muhamet Baran Konyar, seed investor of Stall Hunt. - sandhya@khaleejtimes.com
