PRAMS is a fully functional software solution customised to Al Maha's specific IT requirements. Salim Al Mahrooqi, Head of IT, Al Maha Petroleum said: "The use of Microsoft's SQL Server 2000 has allowed us to gather data from each of our gas stations throughout Oman, and subsequently redistribute this data to the central server at Al Maha's head office."

The SQL Server 2000 offers Microsoft's complete database and analysis for rapidly delivering the next generation of scalable e-commerce, line-of-business and data warehousing solutions. Abdullatif Al Mulla of Microsoft South Gulf said: "Regardless of what sector they belong to or what line of business they are involved in, it is crucial for businesses to explore the benefits that lie in investing in technology and take a decision swiftly. Al Maha required a solution that can grow as the company grows."
