South African firm signs deal

KARACHI — A South African based leading international vehicle tracking company had signed an strategic alliance with a Pakistani company.

The signing ceremony between Matric Vehicle Tracking of South Africa and Chekkerz of Pakistan was held at a local hotel here the other day.

Ms Riette Botha, Managing Director of Matrix, inked the agreement with Syed Ahmed Powais, Chief Executive Officer of Chekkerz.

The South African company would be introducing GSM, GPS, GPRS technologies which are backed up with radio frequency beacvon and as such there are several levels should one fail in tracking the vehicle.
