Shaikha Lubna inaugurates world trade agreements workshop
ABU DHABI — Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade, inaugurated here yesterday a workshop on world trade agreements.
Organised by the institute of economic policies of the Arab Monetary Fund, the workshop is aimed at acquainting Arab lawmakers with the world trade agreements. The two-day workshop is also organised in conjunction with the World Trade Organisation (WTO). Other objectives of the workshop are to enable Arab lawmakers take a proactive role in the WTO negotiations with their respective countries. Some 21 Arab parliamentarians are participating in the workshop.
