Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, chairman, ALDAR Properties, said: " Extensive market research had been undertaken to assess the needs of potential purchasers, in pursuit of ALDAR's philosophy of 'Building the Nation'. The first phase of the development was sold out within 45 minutes. This has been a tremendous success for ALDAR, and it marks our first step in meeting the pent up demand for national families to purchase their own accommodation. Al Raha Gardens has been conceived as a fully integrated community development, comprising a range of residential accommodation from spacious 3-bedroom townhouses to luxurious 5-bedroom villas set in the tranquil haven of an open park and landscaped environment."

The development will be sold in phases during the next 12 months. Sales will be on a first come first served basis. A deposit of 15 per cent of the sale price will be required upon reservation, with the balance upon construction completion of the property.
