Furthermore, the company also launched its first-of-a-kind, world's largest built-in type washing machine at 7.5-kg capacity.

Available in 6 models (10-kg) and 8 models (7.5kg), the new ergonomically-designed range includes the patented Bigwash 4D (digital detergent dissolving device) feature, has the largest capacity as compared to standard sizes, and requires a washing time of 98 minutes, which is also the shortest required-time in the world, for normal cotton wash programmes.

"The launch of the world's biggest washing machine, equipped with the revolutionary Bigwash4D technology, is a breakthrough for the Middle East's home appliance industry," said Mr. Keun S. Yoo, Senior Manager of the Home Appliance division, Samsung Gulf Electronics.

"Faced with the commitment of developing a washing machine, Samsung dedicated its team of laundry experts to the development of a larger laundry-capacity washing machine. With the launch of the Bigwash 4D, Samsung has now developed a machine that combines Samsung's unique semi-conductor expertise and over 30 years of research.
