Reanda International makes Mideast foray

Reanda International has entered the Middle East and appointed International Chartered Accountants, an audit arm of the Sun Management Consultants, as a network firm for the UAE.
Headquartered in Beijing, Reanda International is one of the top 25 worldwide international network of independent accounting and consulting firms. All the UAE clients of Sun Management Consultants shall have access to Reanda's global network with its presence in 22 countries. Many Chinese and global investors in the UAE acknowledged the move, which will facilitate international audit, assurance and business consultancy. Sun-Reanda Dubai will also shortly open a Chinese desk to facilitate and promote Chinese investment in the UAE.
After an agreement signing ceremony, Franklin Lau, the CEO of Reanda International, and LL Koong the director of Reanda International, along with Sunil Jagetiya and Avinash Jagetiya of Sun Management Consultants paid a courtesy visit to the head office of the Hamariya Free Zone and Dubai Airport Free Zone for a meeting with the directors.
"Our expansion model is based on expanding networking in terms of membership relationships. We have a common language in terms of technical control, we share brands, and therefore we formed networks. We want to find different accountants from around the world that can serve us in various regions and help us achieve our common goals," Franklin Lau told Khaleej Times.
"We lacked having firms in the Middle East and we targeted firms in Dubai for a number of years as we knew that not having a firm in this region would be a hindrance for us. While we are excited about the opportunities that Dubai will offer, we are also looking forward to using Dubai as a hub to expand our network into the wider GCC region," he added.
"We are pleased to be a networking partner for Reanda in the region. We have over 1,500 clients in Dubai of more than 50 nationalities, and are registered with almost all the freezones and economic departments of the UAE. Through this move both parties will have better global connectivity," Sunil Jagetiya, chairman of Sun Management Consultants, said.
LL Koong explained that the economy in the 21st century, especially in the last 10-15 years, is moving from the west to the east, especially in the manufacturing sectors. "For companies that move to the east, there is a cultural gap on how to work there, and they need someone to bridge the gap; that is why Reanda in the UAE is important, because it is bridging the gap."
"Before only large companies could think about global expansions, but today SMEs can also look at such expansions," he noted. "Most establishments today are SMEs and they are huge GDP generators and a major force, when it comes to employing people. However, they are a neglected segment by many global professional firms and Reanda is looking to fill that gap."
