Re-launch of DQG's IT Subgroup
DUBAI — Dubai Quality Group (DQG) yesterday re-launched its IT subgroup under the guidance of Abdul Qader Ali, Chairman of Dubai Quality Group, thereby giving its members the opportunity to discuss issues and influence changes in the business community.
The main objective of the IT subgroup is to "promote individual and organisational excellence by identifying, disseminating and encouraging the use of best IT practices, procedures and processes.
Abdul Qader Ali said: “With people being the biggest asset to any organisation, information and data security of any organisation must be at the heart of the organisation. The IT subgroup shall be but one quick way for the members to learn from each other and secure their own environment."
With a resolve to create and support industry wide security awareness, the Dubai Quality Group along with Security Adviser Middle East, is working towards creating a security conscious work force within the corporate community regionally.
