Sharjah has simplified its rental services by cutting down the number of procedures from seven to three.
A new digital platform launched on Monday also eliminates the need to visit any of the departments concerned in person. Previously, five such visits were required.
This came as the emirate launched ‘Aqari’, an integrated digital platform designed to streamline and enhance real estate services.

In the pilot phase, more than 90 companies have registered with the system, and over 4,791 properties listed. To ensure readiness and effective usage of the platform, nearly 100 training workshops have been conducted, equipping over 240 specialised users with the necessary skills.
Aqari is positioned as a comprehensive gateway under the Sharjah Digital Platform. It aims to digitise and simplify real estate services, providing a more efficient experience for both residents and businesses.
The platform is expected to significantly improve the real estate experience in Sharjah, making it more accessible and transparent.
The platform saw 200 specialists from various government and private sectors come together.
The Aqari platform connects with over 20 local and federal entities to save time and effort. With a single step through the UAE Pass, users can access an innovative dashboard that displays all their real estate data in one place, allowing for seamless management of properties through:
My Properties: Integrated destination for managing assets
My Contracts: To view all contracts
Activities: Track all transactions in real-time, with real estate indicators, data, and instant analytics that outline the market landscape in the emirate
Real Estate Guide: The comprehensive reference for everything you need to know about the real estate sector.
Services: Management of companies, rental disputes, real estate transaction agencies, unit listings, certificates and ownerships, rental services, financing, and mortgages, along with the ability to switch between personal or company profiles.
The platform also provides instant notifications that allows the user to receive the latest updates on real estate transactions.
