Abu Dhabi’s cultural district

The property sits in one of the emirate’s most sought out locations, Saadiyat Cultural District, home to Louvre Abu Dhabi, Berklee Abu Dhabi and Zayed National Museum, and the future home of Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi. The property will also face the Arabian Sea, allowing its residents to enjoy a short walking trip to the beach.

The residence will also sit near Saadiyat Grove Mall, set to open later this year. The CEO explained that the district will include both arts and culture at the institutional level and also grassroots.

On Monday, Aldar Group announced its financial results for 2025; a record net profit of Dh8.8 billion as net profit jumped by 25 per cent, the strongest financial performance in its history. The real estate giant has properties in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and is expanding to London and Egypt.

The new property is designed by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, making this his first UAE project. Inspiration is drawn from the natural ebbs and flows of Saadiyat Island’s shoreline to compose a striking sculpture and defining addition to the skyline. The undulating curves form two distinct buildings that naturally mirror the landscape and offer a fluid transition between architecture and the horizon.
