It is designed to meet the requirements of any office environment and can be expanded on demand to speed up day to day office jobs. The network capability is built in, the scanner and document management system enables electronic archiving of scanned documents, which in turn can be edited and shared with everyone connected to the network. In short, its like building the office of the future."
With Workio, any paper or handwritten data can be converted into digital data that can be viewed or edited on any PC in the office local area network.
Mr Shigetomi, added, "There is a growing market for digital imaging systems in the Middle East region, and Panasonic plans to double its regional sales by 2004 to cater to the demand."
The new Workio range is available with Panatech Engineering, part of Al Futtaim Group in the UAE.
