Pakistan to announce 2019-2020 budget on June 11

Government is expected to take some hard decisions in the budget.

Pakistan's budget for financial year 2019-20 will be presented in National Assembly on June 11, Khaleej Times has learnt.
Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh as adviser to the Prime Minister on finance, revenue and economic affairs, is giving final touches to the finance document following successful conclusion of $6 billion bailout package with the International Monetary Fund on Sunday.
The government is expected to take some hard decisions in the budget to reduce fiscal and budget deficit to meet the IMF conditions.
