Oman's Tender Board awards RO46m contracts

MUSCAT — Oman's Tender Board has awarded contracts valued at a total RO46 million at a meeting here.

These include several service projects in the Sharqiyah region (RO8 million), new health complexes in Ibra (RO2 million) and Sur (RO2 million), construction of the Al Khwaimiyah Girls School for Basic Education in Al Khwaimiyah area in the wilayat of Ja'alan Bani Bu Ali (RO686,000) and provision of emergency services, survey and maintenance of an 11kv and low voltage electric grid in the wilayats of the Sharqiyah region (RO3 million).

New tenders awarded also include supplying chemical catalyst substances to the Sohar Refinery (RO22 million) and installation of 100,000 broadband digital telephone lines (RO7 million).
