The new medical centre will be run by two nurses and will work round the clock seven days a week; a doctor will be present every morning on six days of the week, Dr Christopher Dias, Medical Director of WDTC told a news conference before the inauguration of the clinic. “Welcare is proud to be associated with the Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Hotel,” he said.

“Our partnership with Welcare DTC is evidence of our dedication to the health of our guests and employees,” A Antonio Zamora, Director of Operations, Oman, and General Manager of the hotel said.

“I believe this relationship will be beneficial to our employees and guests in terms of saving them valuable time and ensuring prompt responses to potential emergencies.”

“When we started operations as a premium outpatient centre, there were lot of comments about prices being too high for the Oman market,” Hussain Abdul Fatah Ghulam, General Manager of WDTC, said, adding: “However, our experience has shown us that when quality service is provided, people are not only ready but eager and look forward to receiving that service while paying a slightly higher premium.”
