Oman's Air Show site gets upgrade plan

MUSCAT — Buoyant oil prices in the international market saw Oman government revenue surging by more than 52 per cent in the first two months of the year to RO1,026.9 million from RO673.3 million in the corresponding period of 2005, statistics released by the Ministry of National Economy indicated.

Oil revenues rose by 41.2 per cent to RO771.2 million from RO546.0 million and income from natural gas by 157.5 per cent to RO113.8 million from RO44.2 million.
