ABU DHABI — Minister of Communications, Sultan Nasser Al Mansouri and Abdullah Ibrahim Al Daboos have been appointed as the new members on the board of directors of Etisalat to represent the government.

They have replaced Abdullah Ahmed Lootah and Saeed Mohammed Sharid, wrote Salem Ali Al Sharhan Vice President (Finance) in a letter to the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) yesterday.

He informed the Authority that the company has not taken any decision whatsoever which could effect the value of it scrip on the market. The company released its year 2004 financial results as well as financial performance during first quarter 2005.
