Mohammed meets StanChart chief
DUBAI - General Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defence Minister, is pictured in a high level meeting held at Dubai's Media City with Bryan Sanderson, group chairman of Standard Chartered Bank.
Sanderson is visiting the UAE, along with other senior bank officials, for a three-day strategy meeting of the leading bank's 55 global CEOs.
Sanderson was accompanied at the meeting by the bank's regional general manager for Middle East and South Asia, David Edwards and UAE chief executive Ray Ferguson, during which local and regional economic issues were discussed.
Standard Chartered Bank has had a presence in the UAE since 1958, and this year celebrates its 150th global anniversary.
