In an open dialogue with national businessmen, investors, traders, CEOs and top government officials yesterday, Shaikh Mohammed said national economic sectors have a vital role to play in the development of the local economy and diversification of sources of national income.

Shaikh Mohammed stressed the importance of cooperation, coordination and consultation between the public and private sectors in the interest of the local economy.

"More job opportunities should be created for young nationals in the private sector in order to tap their skills for modernisation and conversion to a digital economy,” he added.
