Mohammad Al Mojil Group (MMG), a leader in Saudi Arabias construction sector, has currently been executing projects totalling more than SR1.5 billion, according to Nicholas El Khoury, President and CEO of the Group.
Commenting on the company's performance, El Khoury said, "This is due to the strong performance of MMG and we believe the year will see continued positive developments for our business from a financial and operational perspective."
Projects awarded to MMG to date exceed SR2.7 billion.
According to information made available to Khaleej Times here on Wednesday, the Group's new projects were boosted after winning a number of contracts totalling SR1.5 billion with Saudi Kayan. MMG will provide a wide range of construction services to Saudi Kayan's petrochemical complex at Jubail.
The contract, which commenced in September this year, involves general construction works on a new plant in Jubail, including civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation and piping.
The contract win follows a number of other new projects that have been awarded to MMG so far. Other projects won also include an eighteen month contract with Saipem-SNC Lavalin to provide a range of complex mechanical and piping works services at the Saudi Aramco Khurais Water Injection Pump Station in Uthmaniyah, Ain Dar, Hawiyah and Haradh.
