The objective of the facility is to provide leading parts support to distributors and customers in the Middle East and Africa. It is also intended to help MFTBC increase its parts business in these regions, where the company has achieved significant vehicle sales increases in recent years.
Speaking at the event, Bert van Dijk, MFTBC Board Member and responsible for international sales & service, said: “Mitsubishi Fuso is very pleased to announce the opening of the new Mitsubishi Fuso Parts Distribution Centre in Dubai. Our goal is to further enhance our overall after sales capabilities in the Middle East and Africa, with fast parts response times, quality service and comprehensive technical support. This new Centre will help us accomplish this and will be a platform to help further grow our parts business in these regions.”
The Centre is located in a facility in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, in Dubai and stocks over 27,000 SKUs (stock keeping units) including items like filters, brake components, clutches, and air conditioning components.
