'Women of My Billion' is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on May 3
The deal represents one of the largest licensing deals ever signed by Microsoft Business Solutions in the Middle East and is also the first sale of its Axapta solution in the region.
MBT Middle East, which is part of the leading specialty chemicals group, Degussa AG, plans to use the enterprise resource planning solution across its operations, starting with the UAE, Egypt and Turkey. The company will deploy Axapta's finance, trade, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing and customer relationship management (CRM) modules as part of its ongoing drive to optimize its internal resources and streamline its processes.
Mohan Raman, Regional Controller for Orient and Africa within Degussa CC, said : "Our operations are very different from those of a standard manufacturing company, because multiple recipes can produce the same chemical compound and there are a large number of variables in every chemical reaction. As a flexible solution, Axapta will enable us to manage our raw materials more effectively and plan our production schedules more accurately."
Venkat Rangamani, Channel Director, Middle East, Microsoft Business Solutions, said: "This deal with Degussa really highlights the strength of Axapta as an end-to-end business solution. As well as providing full functionality for standard processes like finance, distribution, supply chain, logistics and customer relations, it gets to the heart of their needs as a chemical manufacturing company."
