Metito completes work on new Nubaria plant
DUBAI — Metito, the desalination, water and wastewater treatment specialist, announced the completion of their latest state-of-the-art water treatment plant in Nubaria, 60 km south of Alexandria, Egypt at the value of 47 Million Egyptian Pounds.
The facility was handed over to the Government of Egypt, Ministry of Electricity and Energy, according to the scheduled completion date.
Karim Madwar, Managing Director of Metito Egypt said: "I am delighted to report that we have successfully completed this landmark project within time and budget estimations. We were initially contracted by the Government of Egypt through the Egyptian Electricity Holding Co and their consultant PGESCP in January 2004.
