Messe Frankfurt conducts two exhibitions at WTC

DUBAI - Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Department of Civil Aviation and Chairman, Emirates Group, has lent his patronage to the two exhibitions that open today at Hall 2 of Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Messe Frankfurt, organiser of 'Materials Handling and Logistics Middle East' and 'Automechanika Middle East', said that Khalid A bin Sulayem, director-general of Dubai's Department of Trade and Commerce Marketing, will grace the events' opening ceremony. One of the world's biggest organisers of international events, the German company Messe Frankfurt, which has a regional headquarter in Dubai, stressed the importance of the three-day exhibitions saying that Dubai is the gateway to an international market of two billion people.

It said that the Materials Handing exhibition is also held in association with Dubai World Central-Logistics City. The event showcases a full-range of products and services required in the warehousing, transportation services and logistics industries. It added that the world's leading manufacturers and distributors in these sectors are expected to develop and strengthen business relations with service providers in logistics and materials handling and source new products and services.
