Ten prisoners have been recaptured so far, authorities said
The first initiative under this campaign was an attempt in the Guinness Book of World Record for the largest human image of infinity on November 27, 2018. Nine hundred and ninety eight students beat the existing record created by 288 people in Japan. The infinity loop represented an indefinitely continuing water cycle and the need to keep it moving. It conveyed the message: to save water and respect water resources. Under the external outreach programme, students and members of 'Prakriti', the school's environment club, have spearheaded the campaign forward. They have held various programmes at different venues, to reach out to the larger section of society.
The year 2020 began on a bright note when the school organised a long human chain on February 7, which spanned from Al Sahil to Al Bahar Corniche, Abu Dhabi, raising awareness about the need to save water. Approximately 8,000 people participated, which included students, parents, staff of the school and volunteers of community police.
The campaign would not have been possible without the help and support of Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Municipality.
