“After seeing the success of OTA in Dubai, we are now trying to replicate the same success story in Middle East,” general manager Tareq Abu Hantash said.

“OTA has seen an increase in the number of students enrolling for its courses. This is mainly for the fact that people are now looking at diverse options of supplementing their existing income. Many professionals, housewives and students have enrolled at OTA during the past few months. Such has been the response that the institute has actually increased their classrooms.”

The academy trains and offers live trading experience in the classroom where students trade using the company’s own capital while being trained, monitored and coached by experienced professional traders.

The exclusive coursework offered by OTA was developed from 150 man-years of research and trading experience gained by a company of 180 traders processing more than half-a-billion in securities transactions daily.

The strength of OTA is its long list of elite affiliations with leading financial firms.

Agreements with affiliates allow students to receive full rebates on active trades made after the courses are complete, often resulting in complete tuition cost reimbursement.

OTA opened its Dubai branch in March 2005 and currently boasts a total strength of 1,253 students.

It has also opened its doors to traders wishing to acquire trading knowledge and skills.

OTA uses state-of-the-art facilities which allows students to learn and trade live on the Nasdaq.
