Dubai — Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, chairman, Al Habtoor Group, welcomed Yousaf Bobokalonov, head of mission, Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Abu Dhabi, at his office on Al Wasl Road on Tuesday. Al Habtoor invited Bobokalonov to a meeting after hearing about potential business opportunities in the Central Asian country.
Bobokalonov invited Al Habtoor to visit the country. He said the country has a great historical heritage and unique culture as well as a favourable geographical location with diverse natural landscapes, giving it potential for development in the tourism sector.
Al Habtoor said: “I would like to look at what the country has to offer, particularly in and around the capital, Dushanbe. It is an attractive city, boasting many parks and neoclassical architecture.”
He added: “Our eyes have always been trained to look to the West, but the East offers a lot of business potential. If an opportunity presents itself, I will consider it.”
