Mammut group, Techno Park sign construction contract

DUBAI - Dubai based Mammut group, manufacturer of trailers, steel buildings, sandwich panels, concrete pre cast panels and porta cabins signed up with Techno Park for a 2,160,000 Sq Ft. plot to construct its new Pre cast Concrete Panel Factory with a total investment more than Dh500 million.

The plant will have a total capacity of four million square meters (4,000,000 sq.m) of pre cast concrete panels per year (approximately 20 villas per day). The factory will be commissioned in the 2nd quarter of 2005. Abdullah Al Qurashi, chief executive officer, Techno Park, said: The UAE is currently making many huge constructing projects mentioning that this high speed in pouring the ready made concrete it will help greatly by corpora ting with this company which will highly contribute and finalise the projects during short period in the area.’’

The factory will produce all kinds of pre cast panels including new floor and wall panel technologies from Germany and Canada, which will greatly improve the speed, cost and quality of the construction sector.

Mammut Group will also introduce to the region a new-patented technology from Canada that will revolutionise the construction industry by offering maximum speed, flexibility, superior insulation and load bearing capability.

With this new technology, it will be possible to construct a complex two storey villa within 48 hours. Multistory Buildings, high - rises, shopping centers and other buildings will also be constructed in record time.
