On the DFM, there was trading on seven counters with Tabreed being the only loser falling 70 fils to Dh13.25. Shuaa advanced six fils to Dh3.17 on 81 trades of 3.67 million shares that were valued at over Dh11.67 million, while Commercial Bank of Dubai was up 80 fils to Dh93.80, Dubai Islamic Bank rose 35 fils to Dh49.40 and National Bank of Dubai closed with gains of 85 fils at Dh127.
DFM reported the total market volume for the day at more than 4.07 million shares, which were valued at over Dh23.36 million.
Among movers on the ADSM, First Gulf Bank dropped 14 fils to Dh8.03 on a volume of 117,282 shares, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank remained unchanged at Dh23.90 and Al Waha finished with losses of 10 fils at Dh8.38 on a volume of 15,000 shares.
The National Bank of Abu Dhabi Emirates Stock Markets Index (NBAD ESMI) index rose 2.04 points to 1,862.65 as the NBAD ESMI banking sector index was up 4.7 points to 2,240.14 and the NBAD ESMI service sector index advanced 0.3 points to 1,360.1. The NBAD ESMI insurance sector index closed with losses of 2.45 points at 1,638.58.
Emirates Financial Services (EFS) listed no movers on the OTC market, while Emnex was up 2.55 points to 2,993.19. The financial services sub-index rose 5.65 points to 3,577.95, while the Islamic sub-index was up 6.1 points to 1,634.68 and the insurance sub-index closed with losses of 2.04 points at 1,628.29. The property and the telecom sub-indices closed unchanged for the day.
The NBAD market review also listed no movers on the OTC market, while the NBAD general index was up 3.68 points to 4,614.2. The NBAD banking sector index advanced 9.14 points to 5,112.24, while the NBAD service sector index declined 1.87 points to 4,944.76 and the NBAD insurance sector index fell 5.99 points to 3,642.94.
EFS reported the cumulative market volume for the day at more than 4.79 million shares, which were valued at over Dh39.5 million.
