SRTI Park holds meeting with delegation from China

The Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park) recently held a meeting with a delegation from China and discussed opportunities and strategic partnerships to attract Chinese investors.
Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SRTI Park, briefed the group about the park, its future plans and its offerings such as services provided to the investors, and ways to improve economic cooperation and build partnership between SRTI Park and the Chinese business community.
Al Mahmoudi discussed the anchor projects and the park's aim to create an environment conducive to creativity and innovation to enhance the status of the emirate of Sharjah as the global destination in the fields of research and technology, and to support its move towards the knowledge economy. He called upon the members of the Chinese delegation to take advantage of the park's easy access to vital and logistical facilities in the emirate and in the UAE, and the infrastructure which meets the requirements of international standards, resulting to an ideal and safe investment environment, in addition to ownership and full tax exemption, providing great opportunities for industries and technological facilities.
Al Mahmoudi also stressed the importance of the visit by the Chinese delegation, saying that it reflects the growing relationship between the UAE and China. He noted that the economic investment partnership between the two countries promotes areas such as the transfer of knowledge, technology, innovation and development, and focuses on key points such as 3D printing, energy, renewable technologies, digital transformation and industrial modernization. Al Mahmoudi also expressed his confidence that the UAE-China visits at the highest levels of leadership will consolidate the strategic partnership between the two countries, especially on the economic level, which will increase the flow of investments in both directions to serve the development requirements and support the interests of the UAE business community and its Chinese counterparts.
SRTI Park seeks to contribute effectively to being an active part of these fast-growing economic relations between China and the UAE and to provide an attractive investment base to absorb Chinese investments in the sectors in which the park operates.
The Chinese delegation expressed their admiration towards the park while praising the modern infrastructure compatible with the research and innovation sectors' investment requirements, and their keen interest in expanding the region's market from SRTI Park.
