A new survey has revealed that sales managers, receptionists, and customer service representatives will be the most in demand jobs over the next three months in the UAE.
Around 18 per cent of firms will be looking to hire a sales manager, 16 per cent will recruit receptionists, and 14 per cent will be adding customer service representatives to their companies, according to a survey released by Bayt.com and YouGov on Monday.
The survey results showed that UAE companies will be mainly hiring entry level staff - especially junior executives, followed by managers and coordinators.
Most of these jobs over the next three months are coming up in the business management and consultancy, medical and healthcare, oil and gas and petrochemical sectors. Business management and consultancy continue to have the highest hiring intentions in the next one year in the region, followed by IT and consumer goods.
"Faced with an unprecedented global crisis in the form of the Covid-19 pandemic, our region continues to evolve and transform affecting the most in-demand jobs and skills, as well as the factors which are crucial in attracting and retaining top talent," said Ola Haddad, director of Human Resources at Bayt.com.
