The Ajman Free Zone has opened a new representative office in Karachi, Pakistan. The opening of the new office is in line with the Ajman Free Zone's global expansion plans after opening offices in India, Dubai and Manchester, UK.
The office will support the investment operations and movement of funds of Pakistani customers who aspire to do business in the UAE and GCC.
Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashimi, general manager of Ajman Free Zone, said: "The opening of the new office is a logical phase within a strategic framework set by the Ajman Free Zone for geographic expansion in international markets."
He pointed out that the free zone's strategies on global expansion are planned to ensure their integration with local operations and customers' needs, and are in line with the leadership's overall vision.

The new strategic identity of the Ajman Free Zone reflects an ambition to become well positioned for long-term success, both locally and globally.
The opening ceremony of the new office was attended by Pakistani investment officials and businessmen.
Al Hashimi explained that the new office represents an important step to reinforce investment into the free zone.
The office will be the main contact centre for companies and entities looking to tap investment opportunities in Ajman.
"This will support development of the local market and create new business partnerships," he said.
Al Hashimi said the office would be flexibile and transparent in its operations.
The general manager of the Ajman Free Zone added that expanding operations and increasing investments in Pakistan reinforce the UAE's role as a gateway for global trade.
