Leipzig Trade Fair opens office in Dubai

DUBAI - The Leipziger Trade Fair has announced the opening of its representative office in Dubai as part of its move to make foray into the UAE, Oman and Qatar.

Since the beginning of this month, the German Industry and Commerce Office in Dubai has been representing the Leipzig Trade Fair association, regarded as the world's oldest trade fair.

The announcement was made by Detlef Schubert, deputy mayor of Leipzig at a Press conference in the presence of Dr Jurgen Friedrich, official delegate of German Industry and Commerce and Wolfgang Marzin, president and CEO of Leipziger Trade Fair.

Pal Molnar, director trade fairs and legal services at the German Industry and Commerce Office, is the official representative.

Among the assortment of trade fairs, he will address the Arabic exhibitors and visitors for various events.
