Lamcy Plaza announces 25 per cent sales growth

DUBAI — Lamcy Plaza has announced a sales growth of 25 per cent during the 2005 DSS season as compared to the same period last year.

To mark its phenomenal growth in sales, Lamcy Plaza has announced an incredible three-day promotion starting from today.

Detailing the reasons behind the growth, Tim Jones, General Manager, Lamcy Plaza, said: "Lamcy Plaza witnessed brisk business all through the DSS season, spurred by a host of bargains and promotional offers. Innovative activities at the mall added an element of excitement to shopping."

"Besides the bouquet of offerings at Lamcy Plaza, the remarkable growth of 25 per cent is also reflective of rising consumer spends in Dubai," he added.

"At Lamcy Plaza, we believe that rewarding our customer is crucial. The mall will roll out an incredible promotion on August 31, September 1 and 2, to celebrate and share its success with shoppers," he said.

The three-day promotion will also give customers a last chance to win the mega raffle draw organised by DSMG. In addition, Lamcy Plaza has a special tie-up with ABN Amro Bank, which gives their credit card holders an opportunity to win one million smart points everyday during the three-day promotion.

Lamcy Plaza recorded an increase of over 20 per cent in footfall numbers since the launch of DSS as compared to the same period in the previous year. Consequently, overall sales at all outlets recorded a healthy increase.
