Campaign representatives trade mission in Dubai

Promotion of European apples as part of the campaign 'Strength of taste, vitamins and colours - get to know the quality of apples from Europe', enters the last, dynamic phase, which is abundant, among others, in activities related to B2B meetings. In February this year, a trade mission to Dubai took place, during which experts of the promotion programme, representatives of companies associated in the 'Fruit Union' Association, came to Dubai to meet with key distributors and representatives of UAE retail chains to present the current sales offer, maintain and tighten current trade relations, and make a new one.

The promotional campaign 'The power of taste, vitamins and colours - get to know the quality of apples from Europe' aims to promote European apples, increase their competitiveness and consumption in the United Arab Emirates market and re-export markets from the UAE.


The trade mission lasted five days and during this time the company managed to meet the most important players in the market. This was possible thanks to the relatively good situation in Dubai related to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, which allowed for most meetings (except for a few exceptions when companies are banned from receiving guests and/or work remotely).

Its representatives met with decision-makers responsible for purchasing such companies as Jaleel Holding, Rush Group, Montaza Fruit & Vegetable Trading, Altaf Hussein Trading, KAF Group, Ali Ghulami Vegetables, Al. Bakrawe, Prime plus Trading, Abu Seedo Trading, Simna International, Del Monte, Gholami & Abedi, Fruit Line Trading, LuLu Group and Farzana Trading. Business partners were very interested in the offer and emphasised that the market has high needs in the field of European apples.
